Joan Rivers Imperial Flowers PANSY with Vase
I am so proud to share with you “Imperial Flowers” by Joan Rivers, one of the most exciting projects that I’ve ever been involved in. A celebration of nature’s artistry, each individual flower features a single stem, elegantly displayed in an ornately carved miniature vase. As a fellow collector, I know you will appreciate the high level of design and craftsmanship that is involved in creating this museum-quality series. Showcased in your home, this collection will be treasured and admired for many years to come.” Joan Rivers
“PANSY” is the second flower in the Imperial Flowers collection of six flowers. The flower measures approximately 5.5” tall and the base measures approximately 5” tall by approximately 2.5” wide. This treasure is in perfect, vintage condition in its original box. This is an exquisite collection that must be seen to be fully appreciated.
A note from Joan Rivers;
“In 1995, Buckingham Palace announced that, for the first time, the royal family’s collection of Faberge objects would be displayed in the Queen’s Gallery for public view. I had no idea attending this exhibition would change the way I viewed my beloved Faberge forever! Imagine my delight in discovering Faberge’s floral masterpieces… a little-known aspect of his creative genius. With only a handful of these delicate flowers existing today, these fantasies of nature are considered to be perhaps the finest and rarest examples of Faberge’s craftsmanship.
